i tried to laugh, but i couldn't
i tried to sing, but i shouldn't
i tried to smile, but i wouldn't
then i tried to paint.........
and i had no canvas.
i tried to phone a friend,
but the friend wasn't there.
i tried to phone another, and she wasn't there either.
i tried to sleep, but it woke me.
the realization had me up on my feet...
maybe i'm wrong, but i could be right-
10/16 was a horrible night
