Laura's dress.

Me. Midnight... in the yard, with a dress from Laura. It fits me pretty good. I haven't had an opportunity to wear it yet, but it sort of inspired a few thoughts in me. The dress has character- and plus we all know how much I love hand-me-downs. Those amazing shoes? Oh, just a pair of combat boots I've had since high school.. They are by far my favorite pair of shoes I've ever owned. You probably can't tell, but they are dark red. I like to wear them with dresses, but now that I'm older, people look at me as if I'm insane when I try to pair them with a pretty frock. ;)
Hopefully my neighbors hadn't spotted me doing this shoot, or they must have thought me to be some sort of maniac! With all the running back and forth, from tripod to chair, from chair to tripod again! I had some great visions in my head for this idea, but it didn't seem to come through quite like I'd expected. Perhaps it's just me. I wish I could get someone to model for me, who won't think I'm a weirdo!

It's been a restless night.. or should I say...........morning?
I know it is going to be hard to wake up tomorrow.
I haven't been feeling like myself lately. Mom asks me if I'm pregnant. I almost think she is trying to jinx me. She wants nothing more than a grandchild. I tell her, "in time"..
I am feeling like tomorrow will be a better day!
I leave you with hope for better things to come... and now I must go dream a little bit. zzzzzzzzzzz
